3 months! We
leave for Haiti in less than 3 months!
I need to start off by thanking many of our dear friends that stopped by
and made generous donations at our “friend-raiser” last Friday! It was so nice to visit with such wonderful
people and share more about the amazing ministry of Healing Haiti! We are so grateful for the love,
prayers and support of our friends!
“For we are Gods’
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in
advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
Two things keep going through my mind as we prepare for this
trip!
1. What amazing
and unique team members God has put together for this adventure. It has been really fun for me to get to
know everyone a little better at our “team meetings” and see that each person
comes with their own set of abilities, background, desires, concerns and faith
journey. Each one so unique, yet
God has an amazing plan to reveal Himself to them right where they are at and a
plan to use them, each in a unique way to serve the people in Haiti.
2. What an
amazing and mind blowing God we serve!
I can’t even get my thoughts around the fact that God has this trip
already all mapped out. He has
planned the good works He has in store for us to do, He knows the sweet faces
we will see and the hearts we will touch and those faces that will touch our
hearts. He knows exactly what will break our hearts and what will fill us up
beyond imagination. How amazing is God? All He asks us to do is be
obedient and serve Him.
We are all so blessed to serve a God that has created us,
loves us and gives us the opportunity to join Him in doing the good works He has planned for us!
